How to Replacement fuel filter?

First, pull out the vehicle key and disconnect the fuel pump fuse of the vehicle or disconnect the power supply of the vehicle to avoid the action of the fuel pump to pump out gasoline when the fuel pump is removed. Next, remove the seat cushion of the rear seat and the cover plate on the oil pump, and the oil pump assembly can be seen at this time. The oil pump assembly is fixed by a black snap ring. The snap ring can be removed only after removing the line plug and the oil pipe on the oil pump. The oil pump assembly can be taken out after removing the snap ring.

1. The disassembled oil pump assembly, the original white rubber has turned yellow, and the oil pump, filter and oil level sensor are integrated on it.

2. Replace the new gasoline filter assembly with the corresponding parts on the old gasoline filter.

3. Put the fuel pump assembly with the replaced fuel filter back into the fuel tank. It is best to apply lubrication to the sealing rubber ring of the fuel pump to avoid leakage of fuel or fuel gas due to the leak of the sealing rubber ring after the sealing ring is twisted. Then, install the fixed snap ring of the oil pump, and use special tools to pre-tighten the snap ring according to the standard torque in the maintenance manual. Finally, install the fuel pump line plug and the fuel pipe on the fuel pump to check whether there is a leak. If there is no leak, install the seat, if there is a leak, reinstall the sealing rubber ring.

4. Install the replaced fuel pump assembly to its original position. Connect the oil pipeline, close the lid, and you're done.

Matters needing attention when replacing the fuel filter:

1. It is generally recommended to replace the fuel filter every 20,000 kilometers.

2. When replacing the fuel filter or maintaining the fuel system, smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited.

3. If you need to use lighting during the maintenance operation, you must ensure that the lighting used meets the occupational safety standards.

4. The fuel filter must be replaced when the engine is cold, because the high-temperature exhaust gas from the exhaust pipe can also ignite the fuel when the engine is warm.

5. Before replacing the fuel filter, release the pressure in the fuel system in accordance with the operating procedures specified by the car manufacturer.

Inferior steam filters often lead to poor fuel supply, insufficient power or even stalling. Impurities are not filtered, and the oil circuit and fuel injection system will corrode and damage over time.
