The air filter element is set on the fuel tank and is the "mask" of the fuel tank. It has the function of preventing dirt from being mixed into the fuel tank with air due to the change of oil volume. Therefore, the filter element selected for this filter must have the same performance requirements as other hydraulic filter elements. The capacity of the filter element should be large to prevent the micropores from clogging and causing the internal pressure of the fuel tank to become negative pressure and causing cavitation. Pay special attention to the protection of the air filter in the open air and when the surrounding environment is harsh.

The method of using air filter is: directly insert the lower part into the fuel tank, there is a small hole on the bottom end of the upper cover, which is the air inlet, and the part that is inserted into the fuel tank is the filter layer.
